Hello there [smile]

My name is Tom im From Bradford, and am a Bradford supporter. Been a season ticket holder for 20 years running now, things are starting to look a little better for us after all of the happenings of the past 10 years.

I visit Arroyo de la miel (Benalmadena) 2-3 times a year so i'm going to hopefully start watching a couple of malaga games every year. Im coming out on the 28th Oct for a week so hopefully they will be playing at home when im out there just waiting for the fixtures to be released.

Any recommendations on were to sit in the ground etc would be great, thank you [smile]

Hi Tom welcome to the forums.

The view is good anywhere in the stadium but it depends your preference. If you wish to be near the great vocal support of the Hinchas then sit in Gol or near there although you can hear them anywhere! If you don't want the sun beaming on you during day or evening games choose the main stand Tribuna. Get stadium info by clicking on stadium and tickets link on the main menu on this site. Once the fixtures are out then Ticketmaster will put prices up for all games if they do the same as last season.

That's great thank you very much for your help Chocky [smile] I think I'll go near the vocal fans bound to be a fantastic atmosphere! I'm just really hoping they have a home fixture at the time I'm over.

So I'm right in saying that once the fixtures have been released ticket master will have them all for sale?

My plan is to buy tickets as soon as I can for the game Im going to attend. Get train from benalmadena to malaga Central then walk to the ground from there and have a couple of beers on the way and hopefully meet some fans! Need to get myself a malaga shirt [biggrin]

Hi Tom from another Yorkshire lad. Without wanting to hijack this forum maybe you should have a look at http://www.theloungebar.net
They run a return bus from Aroyo to every game and tickets are usually available. See Spider or Reg.
And welcome to the Malaga experience---once you start there's no turning back!

Your not hijacking the thread at all, any help is much appreciated [smile] that sounds awesome might do that if we don't fancy taking the train, what is the walk like from the train station?

Haha I can't wait I'll be mega disappointed if there is no home game! Want to make it a regular thing outside of school holidays flights to malaga are so cheap, could just do with my own apartment out there [smile]

Hi, the walk is about 20 minutes--the bus is not to be missed ( Its not called the Fun Bus for nowt)
It sets off from the Lounge Bar-- drinks involved, drops off at The Madrid Bar--where everyone meets about 1 hr before kick off ---drinks involved, picks up at The Madrid Bar about 1 hr after the game has finished---drinks involved, drops off in Aroyo at The Lounge bar---- drinks involved. You get the idea!!

As mention above it has it's own web page and sometimes posters will cross post between this site and http://www.theloungebar.net
You will see that the same names appear on both sites. Also info can be found on facebook and Twitter concerning Malaga CF

Typically pathetic of the Spanish FA to leave the fixtures so late but just a day to wait now, so hopefully you'll get a home game when you're here then get on the Guiri Army bus from the Lounge Bar.

Is it always left so late, bradford fixture have been out for ages now really hoping there is a home game. Hahaha that's amazing I will not miss that bus that is for sure!

So will ticket master have the tickets up for the games tomorrow or will it be a little bit longer for them? Am I right in thinking there is a club shop in Fuengirola were I can pick up a shirt?

Yes, there is a club shop in Fuengirola. Anything with a Malaga crest is there!

No idea about Ticketmaster and their plans of getting all games available but you can book at the ticket office with a card.

It's not too hard to find, it's near Hungry Street (the main food/drinks area of town).
