Hi Mark

Over 1000 Darlo fans and a near 4000 crowd for a National League North game was a great effort.  Atmosphere was great.

York were very good in first half and could have had it won by half time, but they didn't and Darlo were much better in second half.  In the end you could have nicked it.

For a nil nil it was a great game, could easily have been 3-3!  Good luck for rest of season I think both teams will be in the mix at end of season.

hi sorry for the delay but yes 1000 away supporters and the the topic on media was why ? as transformed today at home we had 1500 odd which was shocking to be honest as was the result 0-1, well played Telford, they came did there homework and left with 3 points ,  there a clever side, as you will find out , we are still up there and we will be all season, my heart sunk for the bombastic cowardly half wits actions this week against normal folk in spain, god bless them all.

btw good win today

One of my fondest footballing memories is of a snowy Friday night in December 1998 watching City scrape a draw against Darlington in the F.A. Cup.

It's strange that now City are hitting dizzy heights and we watch the world's most valuable trinkets week in week out, the golden years were the ones in which we visited the true gems of English football, York, Darlington, Wrexham etc.

yes, how times change, a story in itself , i still look twice when i see or hear Swansea are in the premiership, i just cant see that happening nowadays not unless Salford city's backers go for it.

Back in York seeing mates for the first time since the move away and so ended up watching this.

bugger  me, York are shite. James Gray is as anonymous as I remember him, the loan keeper Gray found looks like a rabbit in headlights and the same problems of an awful midfield coupled up with booting it up towards Parkin (who can barely move at this point) haven't changed at all. The final Tamworth goal was something special like, two York players dicking about out wide because neither could be arsed to cross for a good minute, Tamworth lad has enough of watching, pinches the ball, strolls up half the pitch and slots it in.

Ferguson did alright before seeing red for a stonewall foul as last man I suppose, but a fair few fans already reckon they've signed a dud in Gray and he's more a case of who would come rather than who was best for the job.

results dint go for us today as we dint play , we are 2 points off the relegation but feel pretty confident we will escape, iv got over the fact our manager defected to another club and i hear today there fans are in total unison and signing...you'll be sacked in the morning...but lets not be getting digs in there.

Gray's league record since joining York is no better than the departed Mills. He's not finding things easy that's for sure.

Mills, 17 points in 12 games. = av 1.4 points a game.

Gray,(lost3/drawn 2/won 3) 11 points in 8 games. = av 1.37 points a game.

i rest me case me lord [Bufandeo]
