I'm going to Mallorca with my friends, for my "summer holiday week" in September (20-27.9) and I was praying for Mallorca-Málaga fixture for that weekend, but they put Mallorca-Valencia game instead.

So I guess I'm going to see that then. Now, I've never been at Mallorca before, so how do they handle things back there? Can I trust there will be tickets available at the stadium, few hours before the kick-off?

And about the stadium, I figure it's outside the city center, going by bus must be the cheapest and/or easiest way to travel?

All info and tips are welcome, especially when it comes to the possible bars near the stadium for pre-match pints.

Gracias de antemano.

Malorca games are never a sell out. I went last year to see Malaga and had no problem to get a ticket.

It is easy to get to the ground by bus. Where ever you are in Palma get a bus to Plaza de España and from there two buses go to the ground. I cannot remember the numbers, but any one will tell you. Plus you will probably see Mallorca fans with scarves etc. Just follow them. The bus is very cheap and does not take long.

As you say the ground is outside Palma close to a poligino.

I hope that this helps.

Forgot to metion that there are no bars around the ground. The nearest is about a kilometer away and not very good at all.

There will always be loads of tickets on matchday. There's a café bar under the north end of the stadium. It's 1-2 miles of town take buses or taxi. Their UK ex pat supporters club is just up the road from the north end. There's not a lot around there so I would say get there for a beer (or 20) at the stadium then straight back to town afterwards.

Outside the stadium cafe bar:

2-0 for Mallorca.

Super-easy trip from center of Palma. Too bad the kickoff was 12:00 on Sunday so had to walk back to the city center because the buses were awfully full.

Not so much noise at the stadium, bought ticket for 35€, too many bloody Germans. Achtung achtung.
